Question:

Is a lime the same thing as a lemon?

I need a lemon for a face mask but my mom only buys limes for some reason. Will it give me the same effect? Thank you!

Answer:

I think I may not need their own thing, too, would be better to let it all or some.
Kaffir lime are notorious for attracting every single kind of pest and disease to them. Mine is covered constantly by mites, scales, ants propaging aphids, and I'll sometimes have to fight a black soot like fungus. I put up with it all including infecting my other plants because I like the lime so much. When the leaves turn yellow, it does usually indicate a deficiency of some sort, but I've learned it can be just a sign that it wants a good drink of water. Egg shells won't help much, you need to provide a nitrogen if the discoloration is at the tip of the young leaves, mature leaves that are yellowing between the veins means the plant wants iron or other mineral nutrients.
