Question:

Is a vacuum cleaner that has no dust bag in it able to vacuum?

I want to buy a vacuum cleaner. So I went to OKorder and try to search for good yet cheap vacuum cleaners, and I want to buy this one:

Answer:

lol yes it still hoovers! instead of going into a bag it goes into a compartment in the hoover, which when full u can take off and empty... then put it back on... works exactly the same as a bag hoover, just more convienient and easier!
A bagless vacuum works by sucking the durt up into a clear chamber that has a filter over the motor's suction intake. The dust collects in the chamber, which is removable. When it's full, you just remove the chamber and dump out the dirt, and clean off the intake filter. Bagless vacuums work pretty well. In fact, shop vacs are bagless and work the same way, except the whole vacuum body is the dirt chamber. The advantage is that you don't have to buy and replace vacuum bags all the time.
Dust bags aren't required for the vacuum to collect dust and dirt. It's a bagless vacuum. The dirt goes into a cup, and you just dump it out.
