Is black or white packaging better for retort pouch when boiling / heating a MRE?

I am working on my design thesis regarding improving an MRE Meal, Ready-to-eat retort pouchDoes the colour of the packaging actually affects the time it takes for the MRE to reach certain temperature?Although black absorb heat faster, but it also radiates heat faster, so I'm confused if I should used blackPlease advise! thanks!!!!!

Your not seasoning it enough thenIt's good practice to season at every stage of cooking.
Try it with out the salt and pepper and see how it tastesIt also season s your liquid.
WHITE foil paper reflects the heat waveSo when aluminium foil paper(white paper) is used for packaging it can reflects the heat radiated by the hot objectAs a result the object can keep itself much hotterThe same idea is used for a typical tea cupMost of the time it is seen that the inner surface is glazed and white.
