Question:

Is it a good idea to get my hair thinned?

So I'm starting school soon and my hair is naturally thick, wavy, and it gets frizzy if I don't straighten and blow dry it which I do every dayI just wanted my hair to be more practical so it won't take a whole hour to dry and straightenIf not are there any really good flat irons or blow dryers for thick hair?

This Site Might Help YouRE: Is there so such thing as an electric blanket that cools instead of warms or pillows that have a cooling? effect? It gets real hot here and was thinking an electric blanket that had a cooling effect would be much more useful
I once heard about a blanket that offered convective cooling, slowly absorbing your heat over timeI don't remember what it was (sorry) or know how well it works, but I can say that you can't make a cooling object without either fluids or some sort of highly-conductive material (like metal)The coolest blankets are those with large pores that allow air and moisture out.
Hmm, I haven't heard of a cooling blanketIt's kind of a contradictionAnd I saw this infomercial about an ancient Japanese (Or maybe Chinese?) pillow that had like 10,000,000 airbeads that kept you coolBut maybe you can get a heating blanket down to a lower temperature to maybe like 60 or whateverI'm not really sure but if your adventures fail you can always get a personal fan at Wal-Mart for like 12 bucksMine works great and keeps me cool all night.

My hair does the exact same thing-.- I wouldn't recommend thinning itJust ask your hairstylist to give it more layersLots of layers will thin out your hair, without losing the nice thickness of your hair(Worked for me!) As far as blow drying and straightening go, I use a Chi straightener, and that seems to workIts expensive, but definitely worth itThe frizziness of your hair may come from the damage you do by blow drying and straightening it everydayI just go to bed with my hair wet, and usually I wake up with a frizzy, tangled, bird's nestBut I can just straighten it out and it looks fineYou can also use different products to work out the frizziness as well.
