Question:

Is it hazardous to open up a PS3?

I know that computers contain toxic materials like mercury and lead, which is bad for you if you're exposed to it. A PS3 is basically a computer and I need to open it up.

Answer:

The best type is the type that goes off when it's needed and saves your life:) I heard something recently about a new type that puts out a smell instead of making noise. They said in studies that it was more effective in waking people. I can't remember the name or if they are available for purchase yet.
Only 1 because of the trade embargo.
Iron pipe is measured from inside diameter (I.D.) Oftentimes these compressors use 1/4 pipe and fittings, which measures greater than 3/8 outside diameter. Also keep in mind that standard pipe threads are tapered, so it would depend where you are measuring the pipe. I believe that Husky is a Home Depot brand. If there is a H.D. nearby, you might bring the whole compressor in and see if they'll give you a new one. I have never heard of a failure in this part, which leads me to believe something might have slipped through Quality Control. Good luck to you, and I hope this helps.
