Answer:

IF THE PIPES ARE DIFFERENT SIZES YES YOU CAN CONNECT THEM WITH A LITTLE INGENUITY. WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IS FIGURE OUT HOW MUCH SPACE YOU HAVE BETWEEN THE UNIT AND THE WALL SO YOU KNOW IF YOU CAN HARD PIPE IT OR IF YOU MUST USE FLEX PIPE. THEN DETERMINE THE SIZES OF EACH END AND HEAD TO THE LOCAL HARDWARE STORE. THIS IS THE MOST TIME CONSUMING PART, AND THE MOST AGGRAVATING IF YOUR HARDWARE STORE IS ANYTHING LIKE THE ONES IN MY AREA. NOW GO TO THE PLUMBING SECTION AND FIND THE STEEL PIPE AND FITTINGS AND HAVE A BALL LAYING PIECES ON THE FLOOR UNTIL YOU HAVE YOUR ADAPTER AND ALL PIECES INVOLVED. THIS IS THE CHEAPEST WAY TO DO IT YOURSELF WITHOUT HIRING ANYONE. I HAVE DONE THIS TO HOOK UP DRYERS, TOILETS, SINK DRAINS AND SHOWERS. IT IS ALWAYS FUN AND THE LOOKS YOU GET FROM THE STAFF AT THE HARDWARE STORES IS AMAZING!! GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN P.S. DON'T FORGET TO USE PIPE THREAD TAPE FOR THE JOINTS!!
Your Uncle John will know how. Give him a call. Love, Me
I agree with the recommendations to get a professional to do the hook up, however, if you insist on doing it your self, the folks at your local hardware store can be a great resource and not only help you to purchase the appropriate adapter, but give you instruction on what you need to do and what tools you may need. They should also be a resource for to get professional help as well. Good luck!
who ever elieth j is should be kicked in the head! YA duct tape. His kind of folks are the ones you hear of dying from carbon dioxide poisoning. There isn't a 7/8 pipe fitting. It's either 1 inch or 3/4. It's not metric. I strongly suggest you get your local gas co to hook this up for you. Most times is no charge. Gas is like electricity, fantastic and safe if done correctly.deadly if done wrong. If you don't know exactly what to do, don't do it.
I think on some markets the alarm system incoporates an anti - tow system which you are advised to deactivate if you lift or tow the car. That aside, I believe you can get your remote control key fob to learn its settings again. If the info is not in your vehicle handbook, then you need to speak to your franchise dealership as things in the British market can be different in your home market. Roughly it involves pressing various buttons whilst in close contact to the vehicle !
