Question:

Is it okay to lightly sand a flange so it will go into the PVC pipe a little easier?

I'm having a hard time getting the toilet flange down into the PVC pipe. It goes about half way and that's it. Standing on it, etc., doesn't help. May I lightly sand it so it will fit better. If so, will the glue be okay to use between the two? Or, do I actually need glue?

Answer:

Open the door, let the cat in, and put her on your lap. She can snuggle on your lap or she can leave. When she gets down, she can sit and be chill, or she can leave. You might consider getting something for her to sit on near your computer, so if she doesn't want to be on your lap she can still be near you. If she can't obey the rules, she can leave. It will take a while to adjust, like a few months, but she will get it. She can stay in the room as long as she isn't bothering you. If she does, then you pick her up and put her outside.
so you still have glass in the window and a metal door, its the glass outside of those that broke? My guess is that it serves as an insulator to protect you from getting a burn when the metal and glass window heat up. It would also help contain the heat inside the oven and make it more efficient, in terms of the energy required to reach the desired temperature and hold that temp. so, yes you can still use the oven, but it will be a burn hazard, so don't do it if you have kids or pets around that might touch the oven door. And it's going to heat up the kitchen a lot more than usual and cost more in electricity when you use it. Probably not all that much more, in the grand scheme of things. I think the risk of a burn is the biggest problem
My favorite metal cutting tool is the acetylene torch. Very quick to zip through 1/2 re-bar but you will need to know what you are doing. Know anyone that works on cars, does construction? Someone with a little experience could give a primer course and send you on your way. Hey, It's fun to. Just be careful. Don't want your next question to be about burns or house fires!
