Question:

Is it possible to have an in-home garden for vegetables?

Neat idea. No risk of theft, tampering, or weather damage.

Answer:

yes if you got an area where you get lot of sun and where can put up with the bugs .
Absolutely... Indoor gardening is gaining popularity quickly in urban areas. I live in an apartment (around 750 sq feet, 2 level, north facing (no sun really).. I grow 6 of each, tomatoes, basil, beans, peppers (jalepeno this time) and 2 brussels sprouts.. I think that this season I am going to push it a step further and try to put a small fruit tree in the grow area too. All you need is light, water, and the correct temperature/humidty.. more often than not, if the house/apartment is comfortable for you, it will also be for your plants... but yea, if you want to start an indoor garden, email me and I will tell you what you need to get started! Also, there are ways around the lack of sunny spots, and pests.. you just have to be willing to invest a little time and money.
