Question:

Is it very common for a baby to be sensitive to the polyester in stay-dry cloth diaper inserts?

I am cloth diapering to protect my baby against chemicals. I am sensitive to a lot of man-made items and chemicals. I get red and irritated, and I even refuse to shop at Sprouts, because I can‘t stand the chemical product that they use to mop the floors. So, since I am sensitive to a lot of things, I think my baby might be too. Should I just opt for hemp, or organic cotton?

Answer:

It's not very common or it wouldn't be a very commonly used material. Since you're worried about it though and your main reason for cloth diapering isn't a financial one, then just go with a different material. Problem solved.
