Question:

Is my contact lens / eyes safe after handling acetone?

I just got out of chemistry lab and the lab didn't have safety goggles for us the first and day. We washed all our lab equipment with acetone, water and soap. What is the chance of acetone evaporating in to my eyes. I cleaned my contact lens and let it soak in the contact solution for 30 minutes and now I'm wearing it again. My eyes feel fine. Is there any possibility that being exposed to acetone while wearing contact lens without a goggle could be a problem? I'm scared the irration might show up later in the day.

Answer:

Watch South Park. In Season 8 there is an episode called Up the Down Steriod. You will learn how to manipulate your mom by watching cartman convince his mom to let him join the special olympics.
Try cutting up your shirts with vertical angles and wearing them over colored wife beaters. Shirts: RIP the sleeves off and re-attach with safety pins! I have looked all over the Internet for web sites and couldn't find anything sorry!
