well my dad wants to know if that perticular plastic is recycble so he can recyle his old mailbox!
Any plastic with a label from 1 to 6 (but not 7) is recyclable. Your dad's mailbox is made out of polypropylene, which is a recyclable plastic, however it can be hard to recycle depending on your local recycling program. If you recycle it it can be used to make plastic straws, food containers, medicine bottles, plastic caps and baby bottles.
