Question:

Is Rose Quartz valuable? If So how much is it worth?

I found a piece of rose quartz a couple of days ago on the ground. I want to know how much someone would pay for it. I would also like to know who would buy a piece of rose quartz about the size of 2 dice.

Answer:

quartz is pretty resistant to weathering. The pebbles will be largely intact. Some of the matrix may weather a bit, causing a few of the quartz pebbles to fall out, but not much. There will be little noticeable change after 100 years
Essentially none. Physical and chemical weathering of the Shawangunk (a silica cemented) conglomerate is very slow in human terms and 100 years is only a very short time on the erosion scale.
