Question:

Is System of a down considered metal?

I've heard that they are nu metal. But what is that...isn't that the same thing as metal? I know metal has different subgenres but why do people make it so complicated? Why cant all metal just be metal instead of calling it thrash, nu, heavy, black, death, alternative metal, etc . In my opinion they are all loud and heavy in somewhat so why arent all of them metal instead ?

Answer:

play them all, even the old school ones
complex matter. try searching over google. this can assist!
well mgs4 came out today =( i don't have it though =( but start with 1 then play 2 then play 3 then 4 its a great series
I just started playing Metal Gear 4. If you've never played any Metal Gear game, the story line in Metal Gear 4 will be confusing because there are a lot of past characters in it so you'll feel out of the loop. Obviously, the graphics are the best out of all the Metal Gear game as it's the latest game and runs on the PS3 console. I say play Metal Gear 4 then rent the old Metal Gear games to connect the story line.
they released Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection which has METAL GEAR 1 2 and 3. 1 was probably the best, but 2 was really interesting. 3 had the best controls but it's a prequel. so the order goes 3 1 2 4
