Question:

Is the AMD bulldozer series really as bad as everyone is saying?

I wanted to get the zambezi FX-6100 for a gaming PC build but everyone is saying the bulldozers weren't good so should i just get the AMD Phenom ii x4 965?This is my first build by the way and I want a great gaming experience.

Answer:

I think people had too high expectations for the bulldozer series. A good CPU coupled with a great graphics card is a tried and true approach that still applies. Get a Phenom II with a decent graphics card and a fast hard drive / solid state drive to get the performance you want.
I have a amd bulldozer motherboard, and is worth for gaming, it is also comparing for the black edition of intel's I7. I like AMD better because of it's cheaper than Intel, but for me, it is worth it. Buy it if you are going to game! P.S - If you have 300$ buy the nvidia 560 geforce ti!! Works great with the bulldozer series!!!
Bulldozer processors are killed in performance by most intel processors, and are still eclipsed by Phenom II's, despite them being years older. They're decent budget processors, as Phenom II's are a bit more expensive due to being discontinued, but are by no means great gaming processors.
no you shoudn't go with amd it sucks intels the way to go get a i5 for gaming and if you have the extra doe get the i7 good for gaming and rendering thats what i have its beastly.
I surely have been utilising Pantene on account that 1996, and that i like it. It does stable for my hair, keeps it reliable and comfortable. yet while i discussed what shampoo I used to a classmate back in 1998, she suggested she use to apply it too until eventually now she got here across that the business enterprise assessments it on animals. She became into the PETA and attended an animals proper club in college.
