Question:

is the fiber in wheat grass soluable in water or insoluable?

i would really like to noi am 18 years old and i have a really bad problem battling constipationi have to take benefiber everyday and its starting to get worse.and there is a smoothie place in the mall by my house and you can add a shot of wheat grass to your smoothie which is like your daily helping of vegetables and its really good for you and obviously it has fiber in it but i was wondering if its insoluable or soluable, because insoluable fiber is better for passing stool through your intestines.and either way im going to get some but i was curious.

I started having wheatgrass shots back in the late 1970's, and it is something I have never given much thought to, as it is pressed in the manner it is, I would say it is soluble, I am a former chef and eat oatmeal every day and they say it is high fibre but I have read it is only 50% solubleI usually drink it in a mixed beverage, I like it with carrot and pineapple juices, and I add a few dashes of tabasco to for zing, I have never incurred any bowel or intestinal issues, it can be harsh straight up, and most people cannot handle that, I do once and a awhile, no worries as far as I am concerned to the intestinal problems occurring.
