is it ceramic and tourmaline?if you had to pick the best top 10 clip-less curling iron would you included the Herstyler?
I would think if you took 6x6 sheet aluminum, and then used Liquid Aluminum to glue it in place with a few pop rivets that should work.

I have one,it's ceramicI've got the little baby one,it's really cute and I got it in purpleIt works really well,I love itI burned myself the first few times but you just have to get the hang of itPlus,it comes with a thermal glove that let's you touch the iron without burning yourself,so it really comes in handy when you get to the ends and you have to hold the hair on it for a secondSo all in all I think it's a really good iron,it's easy to use,you just wrap the hair around it and hold and it looks beautiful when your done :D
