is the motorcycle passenger required to wear eye protection or face shield?

Answer:

First make sure all electrical circuits inside have a ground. If you really want to ground it good get yourself a copper clad 4 foot 3/8 rod and mount that atop the roof very securely, make sure you grind the end down to a pencil point. Then get 3 8 foot common ground rods and set them about 36 away from the building and drive those bad boys home, they must be not less than 6-1/2 feet deep if you can get the 7-3/4 feet deep with out hitting anything that would be great. Now attach those 3 rods to the one on the roof with No.4 copper grounding wire and your done. There is a much better way to do this but it will cost you big bucks. This will still work and provides a good common ground.I personally would not do a rod on the roof. I'd ground the electrical system as I described here tot he three ground rods and forget it your done. and yes, you can bury the heavy ground wire under dirt to prevent a trip hazard. Oh and by the wayNEVER put your ground rod close to the structure. I noticed the comment above mine. You want to direct the charge away. I have seen lightening rods buried in cement blow the cement in half. NOT real smart. always keep your rods away. Just FYII happen to be a Radio Tower engineer and electrician.
I agree with the tip about rubber gloves, you need to have them slightly damp too. You could also see if you can get a rubbery dog hair remover brush, they sell them in household goods stores, they have short rubber triangular bristles which are really good at picking up the hairs.
