Question:

Is there a car alarm or something you install that sounds like a duck call?

This sounds crazy, BUT.there is someone in my apartment complex who has a car parked right outside my bedroom window. While the car is running, you can hear a noise coming from it. I can hear it from my bedroom and at first thought it was an alarm clock. Then I realized it‘s coming from the car. It‘s multi beeping and different tones, like an alarm clock.but the sounds are exactly like a duck call that hunters use! PLEASE, does anyone know what this is? This goes off at 1 am almost every night, I haven‘t had a good night‘s sleep in months. Again, the car is on and running while the sound is going off. I want to have some idea of what it is before I call the police station and file a noise complaint.don‘t want to sound like a crazy person!

Answer:

properly, that's as much as you and how you experience, yet universal that's continually a blessing to grant than acquire. once you purchase those products on your motor vehicle the installation fee is what that's component to. some places pay installers with the help of the hour and consistent with how many installs are performed. yet back that's as much as you and in case you experience further approximately grant the top.
Any chance it could be the trunk rattling from loud music? Usually the sub woofers in the trunk of cars make the license plate rattle something terrible. If the car is running this is the only thing I can think of.
I'm not sure about the duck alarm thing, but if it's going off at the same time almost every night, I would call the police anyway. Explain to them that every night some kind of alarm or tone goes off, and that it seems to be coming from a car. Make sure you say something along the lines of and, oddly enough, it kind of sounds like a duck call. If you call them up screaming about some kind of duck call car alarm, then they may not take you seriously. If it is waking you up every night for months, then a complaint is in order. It doesn't matter what it sounds like if someone is allowing their alarm (or whatever it is) to do this every single night. I do have a few more questions though. You said this only occurs when the car is running? Does the car's owners just sit in there car with the engine running all night? If the sound is actually a problem with the car and not any kind of alarm, the cops may not be able to do anything about it. I don't believe they can force someone to repair their vehicle, but they still might be able to force them to stop leaving their car running for extended periods of time.
