Question:

Is there a way to adjust windshield wiper speeds?

I have a 87 chevy pickup that the wipers all work but on the lowest setting they seem to go too fast, like not waiting 5 to 10 seconds before going back up on most vehicles. I rly would like to have this adjusted if posible so i aint got to keep turning them on and off during light rain to keep them from rubing on a dry windshield.

Answer:

I believe what you need to do is get an after market wiper delay switch. I think your truck is just a 3 speed switch.
it could have been moisture, or is your jeep rusty? may have cuased a poor ground
If you have that little spinning speed adjuster on the stick, it's probably a bad switch in it. If you don't have it then no, you cannot change the speed.
If it's very light rain, then just turn them on and off (or, some vehicles have a non-locking position which you could use), or you could play around with the electrics and a (variable) resistor to adjust it if it really bothers you that much.
