I use Bosch wipers all the time on my Pontiac which are hook style. The hooks are universal, so yes there is a way. The come right out of the sleeve ready to snap on when I buy them, not sure why you have an issue. Look up the code number at the store for a 99 Taurus, buy the correct one. Snap it on.
