my exhaust systema 302 v8 enginefactory manifoldsfactory y pipefactory dual catsno muffler but will soon vent to the side of the truckit meets all the emissions specs as of the last time i had it smogged and it is below the noise level.is this legal in CA?
No. You cannot run anything other than the stock exhaust system.
no they will catch you either for loud noise or missing emission components (the muffler is a emission component technically) in all reality the muffler isn't an emissions component it just muffles the sound of your exhaust, but they will catch you for it.
