Question:

Is this safe.but im soo cold?

I have one of those electric undersheets for your bed,But i‘ve been told that just after i get in,i need to turn it off, otherwise it could catch fire, well after a bout 5mins the blanket is cold again,so i was just wondering should i leave it on,while i‘m reading and sufing the web and then turn it off,or should i just leave it on all the time?

Answer:

Look up asbestos testing in your yellow pages or for your city on the internet.
It does and it is just better off left alone. We tied to remove it on a job site and it was a nightmare with all the EPA permits.
What you living in? an igloo or something.
The warning about fire should be considered always. Back in the day, a brick was placed on the hearth - front of the fireplace to heat, or on the the stove top. Handling the brick with pot holder, was wrapped in large towel and placed by the feet or where ever. Also, have you tried an eider down comforter.very warm and light. Also consider down sleeping bag these are available for couples too.
Don't worry about the blanket thing. If it caught on fire, I think you would know and would be able to stop it. They just say that so you don't leave it on while you're out of bed so your whole house doesn't catch on fire.
