I would only do that if you were really hurting for a defense. I don't think maroney is going to be able to stay on the field this year. LJ might not either, but he has looked very good in the pre-season.

Please don't even think about it. Defenses are all pretty much the same and Maroney is a middle of the road back. Johnson is a STUD when healthy (which he is) and will be the go to guy in that struggling offense. You could pick up a free agent defense with the same value, and Maroney will never produce like a 1 RB should. I wouldn't even offer a counter for that nonsense.
