Question:

keyboard not working on boot?

I got windows vista installed, I want to use my USB keyboard on the boot, but it is not working for some reason, it used to work, but it doesn't anymore, how can I activate my keyboard on boot?thanks in advance for any answer.

Answer:

unplug it ans plug it back in then boot up. If that doesnt work when u boot up goto control panel and click on keyboard and then you can choose which keyboard u have in there
USB keyboard is usually not enabled as default in BIOS. When Vista was installed, BIOS may have been reset to default, thus using P/S2 keyboard. You may have to temporarily use a P/S2 keyboard to open BIOS menu and then enable USB keyboard support.
