Knitting, wrong size needles, should I add stitches?

Answer:

This piece of knitting is going to be felted so does need to be done on big needles or it will not felt successfully1 size different would not matter much but 4 sizes bigger means I think you will be disappointed with the resultsThe felting shrinks the knitting so it needs to be knitted on a much looser gauge than usualAs you knit you will probably think it looks too loose, as it would be if you weren't felting the finished pieceThe felting process fills up the holes to make the close fabric that is feltIf you use a small needle to knit with the felt comes out stiff as a board.
we had our walls done with Fibre and it is lovely and warm, we did not have the option of foam
i have herd from several contractors that foam is better because eventhough fiber does the same thing it tends to settle over time leaving a gap at the very top of your wall, where as, foam does notfoam operates like the great stuff foam in a can it is pumped into you wall expanding to fill every nook and cranny.
