Hello. I am working on a project with a friend and will be wiring together many different colored led's together for a costume we are making.I am pretty good with soldering and thought this would be a fun project but we are looking for a battery pack we can buy that has different modes that you can switch too. So the lights flash or do other cool patterns.Is there something like this?Thanks!! :)
Battery packs don't have different modes. What you are looking for is some sort of control circuit. There are thousands to be found. Of those, maybe a few hundred would be something that you might be able to use. The hardest part will be choosing the best one for your purposes.
I don't know of any battery pack which has different modes. I think what you need is a switching unit of some sort. If you search Google for led sequencer you will get links to circuits which you can put together yourself or ready made ones.
