Question:

Lab Safety License Plate Logo - Help?

For a project for science we have to create a license plate with a logo promoting one of the things for lab safety. You can find ideas from our safety contract:

Answer:

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. And I certainly have no idea what Tj is talking about in that answer. Polyester resins are usually hardened with Styrene monomers and they 'cure' or harden exothermically. It gets hot'. Most paints are simply pigments suspended in solvents. The chemical composition of polyester resins acts like a solvent, and will make the paint run (is that what you are asking?). When working with colors on a surfboard where the will be a resin coating, it is much better to use resin pigment with the laminating coat for an opaque finish or a resin tint for a translucent finish.
Do you mean completely disabling it or turn it off after it goes off? In my car I stuck my key in the driver door lock, locked it and it stopped. If disabling it completely, you should probably take it to someone and have them do it.
