Hi i know this is a dumb question but can a brand new laptop overheatBecause my laptop keeps overheating and i really need a new.So can a new laptop overheat?Please help.
Yes, it can and it will. If its new, then buy a coolpad for it and use that when u are doing heavy tasks. If its old, i would say consider changing its thermal compound, which i dont think its useful for a new laptop.
Yes, if you block the venting by putting it on a bed or something if you leave it on a flat surface, it should not overheat.
Well, there's a lot of causes of an overheating laptop. But since you said new, its just probably the air exhaust is either blocked or not functioning. If it really overheats even the exhaust is not blocked, you can buy a laptop cooler/fan.
depends where you hold your laptop. if surface is smooth, your laptop has less chance to overheat, if surface is rough and it's made out of warm material (like blanket) your laptop is more likely to overheat. it might also be the dust inside of it. if you currently can't afford new laptop, you can always clean this one but be aware that you might brake it if you don't know what are you doing. you can take it to technician to do that for you
