Hi. i have been given a small laptop with no windows installed, i have a disc, but the laptop has no disc drive, can anyone help?
The Best thing to do is take it like P.C World or any computing shop and see what they can do.
if the laptop doesn't have usb ports, get a pcmcia external cd drive; that's what I did for a classic 5x86 IBM laptop once and it worked fine. choose the version of windows that best suites the pc specs.

Buy an external CD-rom that hooks up through USB. You can install windows this way.
Now who in the right mind would give you a CD installer when your laptop has no disc drive. You can't use any external disc reader because you need a primary disc reader to install from the CD. Better bring it back to the place where you got it from and have them install it for you.
