You calculate the mole ratio of oxygen to aluminum in a compound to be 1.5 mol O : 1 mol AlWhat should you do to determine the mole ratio in the empirical formula of the compound?aMultiply each mole value by 1.5 bMultiply each mole value by 2cdivide each mole value by 1.5dDivide each mole value by 2

Answer:

Whenever you see a molecular formula - like water for example - H20 - that number 2 in there has to be a whole number (just for the ease of reading them)It is just the way it isWater could also be written H0(1/2) but that is more confusing for the reader to look atWater could also be written H(1/2)0(1/4) and even though this is correct, it is just hard to look atThat is all that your question is trying to do - to have you put the formula in whole numbersIf you multiply both 1.5 and 1 by 2 (answer b)- you now have 3 and 20(3)Al(2) Multiplying a, c, or d by 1.5 and 1 would all leave fractions with either Oxygen or AluminumThanks AEinstein
there is no getting around the fact that these breads taste best immediately after they are made and they will never taste like that again so my advice is to abandon the storage idea and make them often in small lotsby the way the same is true of jalapenos and habanerosthey taste great immediately after they are diced or sliced and will never have that taste afterwardsoxidation of key chemicals is to blame.
I either wrap the banana bread in tin foil or a large plastic bagI don't bother refrigerating it because it doesn't last that long in my houseSometimes I'll make two loaves, one for now and freeze the other one for laterAny other bread I would just store in a plastic bag.
