hi there, how long do lcd monitor last? and i use it 5-6 hour everyday and is hot at top left side of the monitor .will the lcd backlight burn?, its a samsung 20in lcd widescreen monitor i brought it a month ago. please tell me i'll give ya 10 points
2-8 years. I have had mine for 6.
LCD monitors have a good lifespan.they can easily last 5+ years. i am using a LCD monitor for more than 4 hours a day for 5 years and it is perfectly okay.
LCD's last for quite a while, but time will affect them. You won't notice it, but after a few years they begin to dim. Most come with a 3 year warranty, so I would say usability is about 3-5 years.
