In chem we're learning about light and we got to look through this sheet of plastic that breaks up light into rainbows, it was super trippy. i forgot what it was called, i need to know the name, and also, i was wondering, if i put a sheet of it on my window, would it shine rainbows all over my room?
There was a toy i think called Eye of Jupiter that does that pattern
I don't know for sure, but I think you might be referring to a Fresnel lens..... but I could be wrong.
