Question:

Lightning rod topic: Abortion?

For those of you who are pro-abortion, let me ask you this. With all the discoveries regarding how alive a fetus is, how can you honestly say that it's not a living person that you think you have the right to choose to abort. I have never heard a response to the question What about the rights of the child?

Answer:

That is horrible, god help that evil b*tch, I hope that woman gets what she deserves.
set up a video recorder and catch the mayhem in the act..or at least advise the girl to attempt it on the inside. Or just have her use a cell phone or digital camera on record and put it in an obscure spot. Don't even need to get video, I'm sure the conversation will be interesting enough. Tell her to build up a case, don't just run to pops with one recording. Record as many interesting screnarios as possible unless it's becoming too unbearable. Cause if the dad is too passive, he may regard it as just a one time deal. But the more crap that is shown, it may show how serious it is. And make sure that when showing the popsit's in secrecy and not in front of Chris.don't want to let her get wise as to what is happening. And if some solid evidence is gathered and Pops is still in denial. I'm sure some legal action with the evidence will straighten some people out.
go to your fire dept. they would probably help you out greatfully. Take the fire extinguisher with you.
Thank God you are so concerned to look for help for this poor girl. Please call 1 800 4-ACHILD, they man the phones 24 hrs a day with trained personnel who have access to thousands of referrals. Explain the entire situation to them and I am sure they will steer you in the right direction. The laughing and shopping is just this girl trying to cope and appease her abuser, not love or friendship. Good luck and call asap. God bless.
I do not have experience in this sort of thing, but I would call CPS and tell what you have heard and seen. That alone would give reason for them to at least talk to them. This sounds like a horrible situation and I can only suggest that you try to help by going through authorities and not to try to confront the parents yourself.
