Question:

Lightning RODS?

why do churches and temples have lighting rods on some of their buildings , Is that a lack of faith ???

Answer:

Try lubrication the entire mechanism. My first choice would be Super Slick Stuff and perhaps WD40 as a second choice. Those lubricants will clean, penetrate and lubricate. If they get things moving, I would use a dry Teflon lubricant or white lithium grease next time you lubricate it. I would also put newspapers or kraft paper or something under the chair for the first few days in case some lubricant drips off. I would say a LazyBoy chair needs to be oiled every couple years, maybe more in a really humid house.
I believe the answer is given by impulse equals change of momentum: F x t m x v Consider period of 1 sec: F x 1 d x A x v where d is density of water F 1000 x Pi x (0.019)^2 x 12 13.6 N
