Linux Networking question!?

Hey I have an HP computer that runs Windows vista and a Compaq, with similar specs running the new 64 bit Ubuntu distributionThe HP has a wireless internet card (Linksys) and an available ethernet portIs there a way I can link the two together and share the internet that the HP recieves from the wireless card? I just plugged it inand it didn't like it too muchscrewed up the internet connectionthanks!

Answer:

This is a windows networking issue not a linux oneThere isn't a lot the linux box can do until the windows one is set up correctlyYou want to set the windows machine up to bridge between the two network portsYou could then either run a DHCP server on the windows machine and use DHCP on the linux box or set them both with static IPs.

Mmmm.we made asparagus last night and it was the BOMB! Here's how: Warm one tablespoon olive oil in skillet on medium high for 2 minutesAdd asparagus and cook on one side for 3-4 minutes, gently shaking panTurn and cook on other side for 3 minutesAsparagus should be bright green with brown spots when doneDuring last 30 seconds of cooking, add 2 teaspoons soy sauce and 1 teaspoon crushed black pepperIt's fantastic! Note: Preparing the asparagus beforehand is keyWash asparagus and swish heads in water to remove any dirt from the headsBreak the stalks with your hands.the stalks will naturally break where they should: where the white ends and green beginsAnd remove stems from stalks with a pairing knifeThe chicken is pretty easy, just broil with some butter, lemon and salt and pepperOh man, it's making me hungry just thinking about it! :)
