I have been told I can micorwave potatos slighlty and them in foil to barbecue bake them but I am wondering how long to micorwave for and then how long to put on the bbq.
I put my potato that is large in the microwave for 8 minutes with a paper towel under itI stab it with a fork several times to let the steam escapeHalfway thru baking, turn upside downWhen it is finished baking, I remove it from the microwave oven and place on a square piece of aluminum foilOn that foil, I like to spread some butter/margarine and splatter about a teaspoon of salt then I fold up the potato inside the foilAway I go to the grillYou can leave the potato on your grill until you finish cooking your mealYour potato will already be done, but needs time to cureI place on the top shelf of my Weber grillWhen I take my meats/fish off the grill, I always place them in a separate foil and wrap them up to restThen I take off the potatoInto the house I go and fix my baked potato with all the fixin's then unwrap my meal and YAHOO.supperIt is very simple to doGood luck and good cooking.
