Question:

More casserole help please?!?

put frozen casserole in fridge (hope it warms lol) so it thaws in fridge some before baking in ovenwhen I bake it should I cover with aluminum foil to keep any moisture in so it doesnt dry outthanks for answering my first casserole question.

Answer:

What did the original recipe say? Is the casserole already cooked and you are heating it up? Or is it still needing to be cooked (baked)? Either way, it needs to be completely thawed before you do anything and if you are reheating it, then probably cover itIf it has not yet been cooked, do what the original recipe said to do.
this is either chunky or super chunky weight yarni doubt it that its still availablefor an alteritive you can pick out red heart chunky or super chunky weight yarns in your local craft storesome places that should have them would be hobby lobby, jo ann, micheals, walmart are just a few of them.
It looks like regular yarn, but a type that is extra thickGo to a sewing or knitting store and look for yarn that is fairly thick (try extra or double worsted)Michaels, Hancock Fabrics, and JoAnn Fabrics usually have a good selection.
if you want thick yarn for it go to anyplace that sells yarn and look on the label for a number 5 or above that mean chunky weight and will be thicker and also come in many cool styles that will be fun to work with
This stuff was popular years ago, and was sold in the giftwrap section of a department or discount store, or in card and party supplies shopsIt may simply not be available any longerI've not seen it recently, so I think this may be the caseCheck these other types of stores (giftwrap, party supplies, etc) before giving up, of courseOne thing you can use is Red Heart yarn's Light Lofty or Bright Lofty or Baby Clouds (same yarn, different names for different lines of colors.) It may be heavy enough as is, or you can do a simple crochet chain stitchOnce it's long enough, snip it off and pull the tail end through the last loopIt'll stay fineIf you do't want the fuzziness of Light Lofty, you can crochet a simple chain stitch in Red Heart GrandeThat one's pretty heavyAll of these yarns I've listed are acrylic, machine wash and dry, and are not expensiveWalMart has a good selection of these, usually.
