Question:

Motorcycle brake light?

I have a 1978 Honda goldwing gl1000. My brake light wont work but the tail light is on just fine, I have replaced all fuses, bulbs and checked wires. Is there any tipe of sesnsor on this bike that I should replace or check?

Answer:

no,they have basic electrics.check power to brake light switch.
the project with LED's is they are very directional, whilst they'd surprisingly much blind you at modern-day out from the lamp they have little or no gentle to the realm using coventional reflectors in regularly occurring lighting fixtures furniture. the greater appropriate decision i think in LED are the recent LED furniture that are completely crammed with LED emitters. you need to decide your self via driving down the line and watching diverse examples at nighttime.
Did you check the brakes. Your pads might be worn. many vehicles brake lights don't work when the pads are down to replacing level.
Does it work with either the front OR rear brake? If not, the problem is most likely the wiring to the light itself. Get someone to mash the brake pedal or pull the front brake and back probe the wire (brake light circut) from the tail light assembly. If it lights on the wires, it is a bad socket or bulb. You can also remove the bulb and check the contact in the socket with a volt meter or test light. Be careful to not push the probe all the way through the wire though because it will pop the fuse.
it okorder /houseofmotorcy... and look specifically at the one labelled change pedal-brake and front master cylinder diagrams FYI... you can pull the brake pads completely off the bike and the brake light should still work...
