Question:

motorcycle tire?

my current rear tire is a 180-55-17.can i replace it with a 190-55-17 ???

Answer:

DanH did a really fine job and covered most of the basics. Economy and using a motorbike.I have a real problem on the con side. Getting the motorbike out on the excuse to go 4 miles into town (I live rurally) to get a half gallon of milk never works out because I end up burning half a tank of gas getting back home the long way! I just hate it when that happens!

I think u can. I meet many friends on a site called bikerkiss. Some of them say once they did this. If u meet problems, u can get on the site to find help.
Great place to ask this question. Ive put tires that are wider than the tire that originally came on it and I hardly noticed a difference in handling but I suppose you could notice. I just couldnt imagine it would be that signifigant. If you can get a really good deal on the tire I'd say go for it.

Everyone is correct, but here is my take: Pros: Looks cool, fun to ride. Cons: Just about everything else. My brother I built a custom Harley from the ground up and it is a true pimpadellic bike. Being a old Harley, parts fall off or break on a regular basis. I love it, but as a daily driver, it beats you to death. Now go drink a beer, sorry you are 17, a jolt cola, and relax.
