Question:

My 2001 VW Beetles check engine light is on and Auto Zone said that my system is too thin??

I have no idea what that means.my check engine light has been on for forever and I never had it checked because my car wasnt acting wierd (yea i know i know big mistake) but anyways, I went to Auto Zone because my air conditioning quit getting cold. It blows air but its not cold- and sometimes its warm. When they did the check engine check, the computer said my system was too thin, and unfortunately noone there knew what that meant.you would think they would know?? hehe anyways. Now my car is stuttering, and it doesnt matter if my air is on or if i‘m accelerating or braking or even in neutral. Please Please if anyone can help or give me an idea of whats going on please help!!!!o- and i know i need to take it to a shop, i‘m going to soon. I just dont have a lot of money so its not something I can do right now. So dont tell me thats what i need to do please!!! :)

Answer:

Get a doctor out sounds bad, hope you feel better soon.
For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/avYzY You may just be on the couch all day, but your immune system is always working. And your body is doing an awful lot to keep you going. These symptoms do get worse at night. Why? Because you are tired so your body and immune system is tired. That's why your doctor will say get plenty of sleep. Rest up and I hope you feel better soon.
Did they say what system in particular was “thin”? The air conditioning…? That is so vague that it could mean anything and guessing won’t really help you any. Hope they didn’t charge for the check. Maybe there isn’t enough Freon in the system and that’s why it’s “thin”…that’s an easy fix, just a quick recharge…but it wouldn’t really explain why your engine is beginning to act up.
