Question:

my angels r spawning every 12 days but laying her eggs on ze filter tube.after 1and a half,3/4 of the eggs bec

if i giv food or swith off the lights, the female would eat the eggs.HELP

Answer:

Day a million ------- H + H + E + E = 2 H + 2 E 2 --------------4 H + 8 E + 2 H + 2 H + 4 E = 8 H + 12 E 3 ------- - 8 H + 8 H + 32 E + 12 H + 12 H + 40 8 E = 40 H + 80 E 4 -------- 40 H + 40 H + 80 E + 80 H + a hundred and sixty E = 240 E on the 4th day extra effective than one hundred unhatched eggs are there.
to prevent spawning on the filter tube, wrap some netting or plastic screen around the tube and supply an alternate spawning site(leaf, tile, piece of rigid plastic sheet ). angelfish do NOT spawn on mops. the male follows right behind the female and fertilizes the eggs as she lays them. in a community tank, angel may lose their eggs to the nocturnal fishes when lights go out. when my angels are brooding i provide a night light that stays on 24 hours. or you could remove the eggs and hatch them in a separate tank. if you decide to separate the eggs you might want to add some methylene blue to minimize fungus. hae some food like baby brine shrimp and congratulations daddy-o
Try providing spawning mops (weighted bunches of wool), bushy plants and pieces of flat slate; the angels should then lay their eggs on these. Wait for about an hour after the female lays the eggs, so the male has a chance to fertilise them. You can then easily remove the eggs from the tank, and place them into a well-aereated empty tank, heated to about 25-20 degrees c (82 f). The fry should hatch in 7-10 days. Feed them on brineshrimp, and then a properiatery fry food mix.
the problem with angels they learn as they go along it is normal for them to eat the eggs at first but after a few more tries they will realise not to do that. it does take a lot of time but you will get there
