And I was you know.....hoisting the sail well, next thing you know the uhhh.....boat sprung a leak....we hadn't even left the dock yet! Now he says it hasnt' happened to him before....is he just saying that or do you think it could be me? I'm feeling really sad about it......not to mention EXTREMELY frustrated!!!!
If his boat sprung a leak prematurely, that's his problem not yours. The way I see it is he is telling you that his leak never happened before because of his own insecurities. There's no doubt that your sail hoisting is outstanding. anybody that can hoist my sail like that can make my boat leak anytime.lol AS far as your frustration, make him swab the deck until you are satisfied next time. have fun good luck hoisting his sail next time, or should I say not springing a leak before you leave the dock.
