Question:

My car alarm goes off when i unlock my door?

I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty and most times i unlock it with the remote the alarm goes off when i open the door. I have a keyhole to unlock it on the handle but i never tried it. Why does the alarm go off though? Should i try unlocking it by the door?

Answer:

First we have to ask why was the reservoir in need of fluid? did you replace or rebuild the master cylinder or caliper? did the fluid just magically evaporate which is why they sell those little bottles of brake fluid to complete idiots that think its necessary to top off the reservoir? You left that part of your question open for guesses, then there's the fact that many motorcycle hydraulic brake systems require reverse pressure bleeding, meaning you have to push fluid from the caliper to the master,
Harry is right. If you aren't seeing any leaks and you cant build pressure, it's likely your master cylinder. It's time for a replacement or rebuild.
if you cant build pressure and no leaks, even if you cant bleed, your master cylinder is fukt
You did not provide enough details. Do you have an aftermarket alarm, but the factory alarm goes off when you open the door? If so, turn the key in the driver's door cylinder to unlock and that should stop the factory alarm. It probably means that the factory disarm wire is not properly connected to the aftermarket alarm.
All cars I have do the same. That is why you have an alarm, so when burglars who want to steal your car open the door with another key etc the alarm goes off. You should have a hand held alarm push button unit that you should push for alarm off, or alarm on. So you push alarm off and then you should be bale to open the door with the key if it does not automatically unlock the doors this way. This should be the way it works or maybe it is not working. If so find the alarm fuse and disconnect and get it repaired.
