I have a e machines model EL1200. it has got a micro SD port on the front. when i put the card in from my camera (which i then have to put the small sd card into the big adaptor than i have to put them in the computer) nothing works? it does not do anything.
Your eMachines is rather old In it's techspecs, it's stated that it only supports SD cards, not SDHC or SDXC, which I'm afraid you're using. Try to find a plain SD card, if you can and only use that one for working with your PC.
