Answer:

hamsters are very well known to tear things upAnd one thing, is that aluminum foil could be sharp, and might hurt themAnd if you would like to see things torn up, then i would suggest using chemical free tissue paperHamsters are very well known for diggingAs their natural home are just like antsThey live in tunnelsGood Luck :) Sabby
Replace the sink! The only way I know how to mend a crack in aluminum is to heliarc weld itYou can try some of these products that come in a tube that are suppose to harden like steel or aluminumI do not know the name of the product off the top of my head but they are usually found with adhesives in storesI would do both sides of the sink to be safeGood Luck!
Epoxies will not bond to aluminum permanently as aluminum releases an oxide material and destroys the bonding after a while Go to an appliance repair shop and buy the same bonding material that is used to repair a damaged aluminum Air conditioner tubeThat costs about $8 for a 3 part system including the primer Level that wound best you can from the backside, then rough the backside up with sandpaper good and prime, mix and apply this material I am sure this will literally hold on there forever including lots of hot water washings of dishes.
Try find an epoxy ( 2 part) made to repair leaks in water pipes and such and apply to the bottom of your sink as well as into the crack if you can force it in from the top.
