Question:

My house has brick inside the beams as insulationShould I get rid of them and put up real insulation?

My house is 100 years oldIt has a wooded quot;bubblequot; frameThe people in my town back then were all brick factory workers and brick layers. They used to steal the bricks and but then within the frame of the house as insulation.I am in the process of tearing down the plaster walls to put up sheet rock.Is it best to leave the bricks as insulation given the amount of time and work it would take to take them down?Or should I take the bricks out and put up standard insulation?I think after all these years, the brick insulation has become part of the foundation of the house.

Answer:

Cold water fish like tuna, lake trout, sardines, salmon, krill and mackerelFlax seed oil or any oil with omega 3 and omega 6Nuts and seedsCranberry juice.
They are now starting to use cinder blocks for insulation so I would check it outThe bricks sound like they would be great insulation because they keep a more level temperatureStay warmer longer in the winter and cooler longer in the summerAlso, I think they would be a lot safer if there was ever a fire in the homeI'd keep them.
