Question:

How common exactly is a cats eyes reflecting red?

My kitten's eyes reflect red in the sunlight but orange in artificial light. How common is red reflecting in cat's eyes anyways??

Answer:

Well, you can really look at just about anything under a microscope. But if you mean to ask whether you'd be able to look at these things under a microscope and be able to really see something, then it really does depend on your magnification. I'm surprised that your microscope does not say somewhere. If it is a hand-held microscope the lens they usually give you first is 40x. Not really a whole lot you can do with that except make stuff look bigger. Binary scopes usually have four different lenses: 4x, 10x, 40x (That one may be wrong), and 100x, plus a 10x eyepiece. But seriously, the magnification should be written somewhere. And I think your interest in looking at these things is rather common. Unless, of course, you are one of those people who just can't stand to get their hands dirty. As for images, try pedia. Chances are that somebodies got a picture up for everything there.
I would also take a look at places that sell construction work clothes. I know they have fire retardant jackets and such, so they may have blankets (or know where to get blankets). I'd also try the fire station again. Try leaving a message or going down there and talking to them.
