Question:

My silver ring turned black in a natural sulfur hot spring, how do I change it back to normal again?

I forgot to take off my ring in the hot spring and then watched as it changed from bronze to gold to silver to grey to blackBut I like this ring can i change it back and fix it?

Answer:

There are air molecules (gases) dissolved in water - it truly is how fish breathe.they take in it with the help of their gillsPopping air bubbles does no longer eliminate each and every of the Oxygen.
if your ring is made from a silver it's quite easyall you need is: -a cup of boiling water (the hotter the better) -purr a good amount of salt in the water, it doesn't matter if not all the salt dilutes -ad a big piece of aluminum foil -ad your ring and make sure the ring touches the aluminum foil just wait about 15 min and then brush your ring with an old toothbrush, repeat the whole process if necessaryafter your ring is clean enough, wash it with watersince there is a chemical reaction involved you might want to do this with a cup and toothbrush you wont need anymorealso the cup should not be made of any metal, otherwise it might not workif during the process some small bubbles forms, it means that it's working but they don't necessarily appearyou will also notice, that it starts to smell bad, don't worry about that, just open the window and avoid smelling the fumes.
