Question:

My windshield wiper keep getting stuck when they reach their upright position?

My windshield wiper keep getting stuck when they reach their upright position, yet the motor continues to run as if it‘s trying to force them back down. The motor will continue to run even after I turn the wiper off until I get out of the car and force the wipers back to their original position. Any ideas what could be the problem?

Answer:

I am guessing that you are driving a older car and the bearing sleeves have warn for the wipers are at the top of there stroke ,if so you will need to have the sleeve replaced .
Where do you live? How is the weather? Are comfortable in the cold and rain and blistering hot or do you prefer a warm/cool/dry car?
Very, very trouble-free subject. bypass to the Pontiac broking service and the clerk will attain down less than his counter and hand you a alternative wiper park swap as he in all chance has some in inventory. undesirable high quality swap that fails many times i'm sorry to say.
i would take off the cowl vent were the wipers bolt on to and look at the metal arms there on and see if there is any restriction in the system or if the wiper motor it self going up but i have a feeling theirs some thing lodges in the way to stop if from completing it full cycle
