THE LIGHT BULBS ARE INTACT AND LOOKING GOOD. THE FUSES ARE GOOD. THE CONNECTIONS ARE GOOD. DID I MISS SOMETHING? IS THIS A TYPICAL LIGHT MALFUNCTION THAT CAN EASILY BE FIXED? WILL YOU TELL ME HOW TO FIX IT?
Check for a bad ground. A volt meter is a must have tool to diagnose this.
Check if the tail light fuse is getting power. There could be an unplugged wire before the fues box. Or the fuse box could be damaged (not uncommon).
heres the thing auto and bikes trucks etc etc always have power, the switch grounds the device when engaged thus engaging it. Get a meter and run continuity checks wire by wire on the non working system. Use a test light as well on any fuse and on the item itself point by point until you find the problem Usually its something simple.
